ویکتوریا با «شراب سال» در جوایز ۲۰۲۷ هالیدی درخشید
اگر آخرهفتههایتان را با تورهای مزهکردن و سر زدن به سلار دورها میچینید، این خبر مسیرتان را مشخص میکند. تازهترین نتایج جوایز Halliday Wine Companion Awards¹ برای سال ۲۰۲۷ منتشر شده و چند عنوان مهم به شرابسازان استرالیا رسیده است؛ با سهم پررنگ تاکستانهای ویکتوریا².
در این دوره، تیم هالیدی پس از چرخاندن و چشیدن بیش از ۷۰۰۰ شراب از حدود ۱۰۰۰ شرابسازی، برندگان را در هفت بخش اصلی (از جمله «شراب سال» و «شرابساز سال») و همچنین ۱۸ بخش واریته معرفی کرد.
شراب سال: Mount Mary Triolet 2024 از یارا ولی
مهمترین عنوان امسال یعنی Wine of the Year به شراب Mount Mary Triolet 2024³ از منطقه Yarra Valley⁴ در ویکتوریا رسید؛ شرابی که در گزارشها بهعنوان محصولی «در آستانه عرضه» معرفی شده است. همین شراب، عنوان White Wine of the Year را هم به دست آورد.
در همین منطقه، Medhurst⁵ عنوان Best Value Winery را گرفت؛ به دلیل داشتن بالاترین امتیازها برای بطریهایی با قیمت شروع از ۳۰ دلار.
بردهای دیگر: تاسمانی، کوئینزلند و چند ایالت دیگر
Tasmania⁶ هم در فهرست برندگان نقش پررنگی داشت. House of Arras⁷ عنوان Winery of the Year را دریافت کرد؛ تولیدکنندهای که بیشتر به خاطر شرابهای گازدارش شناخته میشود و برای شرابهای «روش سنتی» و برنامه رسیدن طولانیمدت در بطری (tirage) با امضای بنیانگذار و شرابساز ارشدش Ed Carr⁸ شهرت جهانی دارد.
یک شرابسازی دیگر از تاسمانی، یعنی Decades⁹، عنوان Best New Winery را گرفت و همبنیانگذارش Steve Flamsteed¹⁰ بهعنوان یکی از برندگان Winemaker of the Year معرفی شد. طبق اعلام نتایج، این عنوان همچنین به نمایندگانی از Salo¹¹ و Eldridge Estate¹² در ویکتوریا هم تعلق گرفت. در گزارش آمده است که Decades با وجود داشتن تنها دو شراب در مجموعهاش و عرضه دو وینتیج از زمان آغاز فعالیت (اولین وینتیجها در ۲۰۲۵ معرفی شدند)، با سرعت در حال مطرح شدن در میان گزینههای مورد توجه ایالت است.
در خبری دیگر، برای نخستین بار در تاریخ جوایز هالیدی، یک شرابسازی از Queensland¹³ تروفی مهمی را از آن خود کرد: Balancing Heart¹⁴ مستقر در منطقه Granite Belt¹⁵ بهعنوان Dark Horse Winery انتخاب شد؛ منطقهای که از آن بهعنوان یکی از مرتفعترین مناطق شرابسازی استرالیا یاد شده است.
